We have a new unit – and a lot of plans! In April 2021, the new company EBG sales became part of the EBG group. The new unit is an important building block in the overall growth strategy. “We are aiming to double sales in the coming years – of course on the premise of economically healthy growth!” says Caroline Hagby, who as a member of the owner family is setting up the new EBG sales unit with her team.

Exploring new markets and winning new customers will be crucial to the targeted sales growth in the plastics technology and electrical engineering sectors. Caroline Hagby: “It speaks for the quality of our products that we have grown steadily for over 70 years. With the right offerings and good teams, we have become a strong player in our industries. Now we can build on this successful foundation to take new steps into other segments and industries and call out to the rest of the world: hello, here we are!”.

This is what the EBG group will do in the coming months with the new Sales Unit: Eight sales and marketing professionals will take care of new leads and countries. Expanding into new European markets has been planned for a long time, implementation and launch were even accelerated by the Corona pandemic: The travel bans left more time for intensive strategic exchange and the implementation of strategic planning.

The realignment is also a signal from the management to the employees. Caroline Hagby: “We are investing significantly in the EBG group. This will future-proof existing jobs and it will also create new ones.” Experience shows that often, new customers are followed by new jobs. “We will have to adapt to new markets and processes, not the other way around. But we are prepared for these challenges and are setting up the teams accordingly.”
