EBG schroeder plant closure as of June 30, 2022

At the end of last month, we unfortunately had to inform our employees at EBG schroeder GmbH that the site in Kierspe will be closed down completely by June 30, 2022. This was an extremely difficult decision for the company management. After years of hard restructuring activities, we had assumed we were on the right track. However, the recent drastic cost increases concerning energy, material and transport, combined with the extreme fluctuations in our customers’ requirements, have rendered the efforts of recent years obsolete and there is no alternative to closing the site. We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to our team in Kierspe – it is now our top priority to find a new perspective for all employees.

We very much regret having to give up our plant in Kierspe.
